Goldilocks and the Three Polar Bears touches upon the connection between human activity and environmental consequences. A young girl moves with her father to Alaska, where he works on an oil rig. As she and her father fly out to the rig she is very excited to see three polar bears and develops a connection with them. When an oil spill occurs the girl’s excitement turns to worry as the environmental impact threatens to destroy the bears’ habitat.
